Our Staff

Lori Snow, Psy.D.
is a licensed clinical psychologist and the Executive Director of Rainbow Adoptions International, Inc. Dr. Snow received her doctorate from the University of Hartford, and has worked with children and families in clinical settings for 22 years. In addition to her 12 years of experience in the field of adoption, she has training in child development, childhood psychopathology, family therapy, and parent training.Dr. Snow travels down to Guatemala twice each year to maintain contacts with orphanages and take photographs of waiting children. She has full knowledge of the paperwork that is required for Guatemala and the governmental involvement in that country for processing adoptions.Dr. Snow is an adoptive parent of four children, and her first adoption over 12 years ago was the catalyst for her change of professional direction. Two of her children were adopted from Cochabamba, Bolivia, and her youngest two children were adopted from Guatemala.

Laura Saunders, Psy.D.
is a licensed psychologist and the Clinical Director of the Rainbow Center for Children and Families. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Hartford and most recently has worked in an inpatient child and adolescent psychiatric unit, private practice, and as an adjunct professor.

Areas of expertise include parent training, behavior management, disruptive behavior disorders, and childhood depression.
